Heating produces pure nickel and carbon monoxide. Overview Nickel is a slightly yellowish silvery-white metal, hard, easy to polish, magnetic (not as good as iron and cobalt) and good plasticity. Density 8.902g/cm3, melting point 1453 �° C, boiling point 2732 �° C. The chemical properties are relatively active. It is a corrosion-resistant alloy with the largest amount, the widest application and excellent comprehensive performance.
