Arabica carries the sweeter taste and has taste traits of chocolate & sugar.
They might have hints of the taste of fruits or berries.
Arabica coffee plantation requires more specific cultivation requirements like cool & sub-tropical climate. These beans are grown at an altitude ranging from 600m-2000m.
Robusta beans bear a stronger & more bitter taste and is used primarily in an Instant coffee mix, Espresso as well as a filler in certain blending.
These beans have Chlorogenic acid (CGA) content over Arabica beans by 25% -80%.
Coffee bean is a seed found inside the fruit (called the cherry) of a coffee plant.
The coffee cherry is unusual in that we donot eat the fruity outer part. Instead, we take the pit out and roast it.
