Having botanical name Tagetes Grandulifera, Tagetes Oil offered has its origin in India and is golden colored oil with medium strength and a slightly fruity aroma. Being insoluble in water and soluble in alcohol and oils, it has Specific Gravity of 0.857 -0.895 @ 20C, Optical Rotation of (+2.00) (+9.00) @ 20C, Refractive Index of 1.480 - 1.507 @ 20C, Flash Point of 135 F. With the main chemical constituents of oil including limonene, tagetone, valeric acid and ocimene, the oil is extracted using steam distillation process and is taken from Tagetes minuta of Compositae family.

The oil is much in demand due to its medicinal properties, the oil blends well with lavender, lemon, clary sage, jasmine, myrrh, tangerine and is invaluable for keeping insects away as well as is a good antidote against parasitic and fungal infestation. Cardamom oil is extracted from Elettaria cardomomum (also known as Elettaria cardomomum var. cardomomum) of the Zingiberaceae family and is also known as cardamomi, cardomum and mysore cardomom.
Cardamom was well known in ancient times and the Egyptians used it in perfumes and incense and chewed it to whiten their teeth, while the Romans used it for their stomachs when they over-indulged.
The Arabs ground it to use their coffee and It is an important ingredient in Asian cooking. Valerius Cordus first distilled the essential oil in 1544 after the Portuguese discovered the East.

Our rose geranium essential oil is extracted from the plant Pelargonium graveolens of the Geraniaceae family and has a rosier smell than that of its cousin - Pelargonium odorantissimum, which is more the commonly known geranium essential oil.
This crisp and rosy essential oil stimulates the adrenal cortex and helps to balance the nervous system, while lifting depression and relieving anxiety and has a regulatory effect on the hormonal system, clearing sluggish and oily skin, while assisting with healing.
It has a sweet and rosy smell with a mint overtone and is mostly colorless, but can have a slight light green color to it. It is watery in viscosity.
