Cocopeat Grow Bag (Slab).

$6.40K - $8.00K
MOQ: Not Specified
Supplier From Kurunegala, Sri Lanka

Coco Peat also known as coir pith or coir dust, is a byproduct of extracting fibres from the husk of a coconut. Coco peat is the binding material that comes from the fibre portion of the coconut husk. The coir dust is washed, heat treated, screened and graded before being processed into various Cocopeat products for Horticultural and Agricultural Applications and Industrial Absorbent.

Our coco peat is usually shipped in the form of compressed bales, briquettes, slabs and discs. The compressed cocopeat is converted into fluffy cocopeat by the addition of water. A single kilogram of cocopeat will expand to 15 litres of moist cocopeat. Cocopeat may also be mixed with sand, compost and fertilizer to make good quality potting soil.
Advantages of our coir peat are it provides good water retention property to soil, increases soil aeration, enhances soil wetting and acts as a solid potting medium and substratum for plants. In horticulture, cocopeat is recommended as substitute for peat because it is free of bacteria and fungal spores, and is sustainably produced without the environmental damage caused by peat mining. Cocopeat has high lignin and cellulose content which makes it ideal for growing mushrooms which thrive on the cellulose. Being a good absorbent, dry cocopeat can be used as an oil absorbent on slippery floors. Cocopeat is also used as bedding in animal farms and pet houses to absorb animal waste so the farm is kept clean and dry.

Shell Charcoal is produced by burning the shell of fully matured coconuts with a limited supply of air so that they do not burn away to ash but are only carbonized.
After the coconut shell is heated, it loses about 70% of its weight. Coconut shell charcoal is manufactured by using three methods called the drum method the pit method , and gasifier technology , The pit method is the method that we use in our production process.
Coconut shell charcoal:

Moisture Less than 14%
Ash Less than 5%
Volatile matter Less than 17 %
Calorific value More than 7500 Kcal/kg
Fixed carbon More than 70%
More than 70% Appearance Uneven lumps & Granules

It's 100% natural and completely safe.
Since it is burnt to a particular limit , it contains minimum 70% fixed carbon it burn longer than other charcoal with high heat
It has no additives and it is made only from one ingredient, organic coconut shell charcoal
It is used in the manufacturing of soaps and toothpaste. It has enormous adsorbing properties and therefore it is used as a food supplement in both animals and humans to promote good health and immunity.
It is all natural and therefore it is used in grilling food items. It lights up faster and the temperature can be adjusted easily as per the requirements. It also burns hotter than a regular briquette and therefore it is energy saving and efficient. It produces only very little ash after burning and does not cause pollution.
