Description

Two-component Air Drying Acrylic Aliphatic, Non Yellowing polyurethane finish coating.

Recommended Use :-
This product has excellent weathering resistance additionally it offers excellent resistance to various industrial chemical fumes and splash. This product is recommended as topcoat with suitable primers and undercoats for use in High Chemical & Saline atmosphere for better aesthetics and corrosion resistance in Chemical, Fertilizers, Petrochemical, industrial plants and also for premium industrial equipments. Not recommended for immersion application.

Surface Preparation
This being a topcoat, which is applied over, primer or intermediate coats, the surface should be free from oil, moisture, dust and dirt. Aged epoxy / PU coating should be roughened by emery paper grade 400 / 600 for better bonding.

Two-component acrylic aromatic polyurethane finish coating

Recommended Use :-
This product is a topcoat along with recommended undercoats for use in chemical plants, fertilizer plants, petrochemical and pharmaceutical complex, power plants, cement plants, steel plants, heavy chemicals and off-shore and on-shore industries.

It is recommended for very high chemical resistance and for areas not exposed to direct sunlight. Product is also recommended for application over suitable primer for OEM industry.

Coverage :-
Pre-painting Steps
Plaster New masonary surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. It is recommended to allow 28 days as the curing time for new masonary surfaces.

Cleaning
Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Growths of fungus, algae or moss should be removed by wire brushing and water. When the underlying surface exhibits chalkiness, in spite of thorough surface cleaning, use SaffroÃ¢??s Exterior Primer.

How To Apply :-
On normal masonary surface by a trowel spatula to obtain an even coating of 1 to 1.5 mm ,2 coats 2 to 2.5 sq.ft/kg**

Filling For Holes & Dents :-
In case of dents and holes use Saffro Mellow Coatings & Resins SUMO Acrylic Wall Putty or white cement and fine sand in the ratio 1:3.

Saffro Mellow Coatings & Resins,MELLOW TEX RUSTIC should not be applied on surfaces / substrates that are subjected to continuous seepage or dampness.
