Commodities Trading specializes in the purchase and sale of green coffee acquired throughout Brazil, to meet the needs of the most diverse markets in the world.
Storage and processing are carried out in Espirito Santos and Minas Gerais . In EspÃ?Ârito Santo, Conilon and Arabica coffees are machined separately. In Minas Gerais, batch machining and standardization are carried out for Arabica coffee.
Grown mainly in the state of EspÃ?Ârito Santo, but also in other regions of Brazil, the Conilon (Robusta) green coffee is an essential raw material for the roasted and ground coffee and soluble coffee industries. Around 70% to 80% of Brazilian production is consumed domestically. Furthermore, Brazil has become a key player in the international market for this species, currently occupying the position of second largest producer behind only Vietnam.
Conilon coffee contracts are traded in Brazilian Reals (BRL), thus facilitating transactions for producers and other players in the domestic market.
Underlying: Green coffee beans produced in Brazil, coffea canephora variety, type 7/8 (7-35) or better, to be delivered in the city of VitÃ?³ria, State of EspÃ?Ârito Santo, Brazil.
Quotation: Brazilian Reals (BRL) per 60-kilogram bag.
Contract months: January, March, May, July, September, and November.
Orfeu Decaffeinated in beans is a 100% Arabica coffee, full-bodied, with a dark roast, low acidity and surprising chocolate notes. In this blend we use the Swiss Water® method to extract caffeine. A water-based process, totally free from the use of chemicals, which guarantees a pleasant taste and no bitterness in the cup. Its intensity is equivalent to 7.
Regarding harmonization, we suggest trying their Decaffeinated Orpheus with dark chocolates and intense cheeses. These flavors complement each other with coffee and bring unique sensations on the palate.
When we say that a coffee is Special, we are telling its entire story, from the planting to the cup, all the care, dedication and respect for the coffee plantation and for time.
Orpheus has an important difference: All our processes are done inside our farms. We Plant, Harvest, Benefit, Roast and Pack. This guarantees full freshness of the coffee. You will notice the uniformity of the beans and roasting. You will notice the characteristic aromas and flavors. All the details that make your experience with Orpheus outstanding.
