Coffee roasting is a heating process that brings out the aroma and flavor locked inside a green coffee seed, which has a mild, grassy taste on its own, and turns the beans brown.

The flavor profile of a bean\'s roast level will depend on the varietal and geographic location of that bean as well as the roasting method.

Roasting coffee transforms the chemical and physical properties of green coffee beans into roasted coffee products. The roasting process is what produces the characteristic flavor of coffee by causing the green coffee beans to change in taste. Unroasted beans contain similar if not higher levels of acids, protein, sugars, and caffeine as those that have been roasted, but lack the taste of roasted coffee beans due to the Maillard and other chemical reactions that occur during roasting.

Coffee tends to be roasted close to where it will be consumed, as green coffee is more stable than roasted beans. The vast majority of coffee is roasted commercially on a large scale, but small-scale commercial roasting has grown significantly with the trend toward \"single-origin\" coffees served at specialty shops. Some coffee drinkers even roast coffee at home as a hobby in order to both experiment with the flavor profile of the beans and ensure the freshest possible roasted coffee.

Our own affiliated Wakey brand roasted specialty coffees come in 10%5 Robusta, 100% Arabica and Robusta/Arabica (70:30) mixed in high-quality freshness guaranteed re-sealable sachets and also in bulk. OEM is possible only on a contract basis.

Grown at altitudes of 1,400-1,900 meters above sea level, these beans are cultivated in the fertile, mountainous terrain that is renowned for producing some of Indonesia's finest coffees. With its rich heritage and traditional cultivation methods, Toraja Arabica offers a coffee experience that is deeply rooted in both the land and culture.

Complex Flavor Profile with Earthy and Spicy Notes
Toraja Arabica is celebrated for its complex and well-rounded flavor profile, often described as having a unique combination of earthy, herbal, and spicy notes with subtle hints of dark chocolate, ripe fruit, and nuts. This coffee is known for its full body and low acidity, which creates a smooth, balanced cup with a lingering, satisfying aftertaste. Perfect for medium to dark roasts, Toraja Arabica brings out layers of flavor that are both bold and nuanced, making it an ideal choice for coffee lovers who appreciate depth and character in their brew.

After harvest, the beans undergo traditional wet-hulling (Giling Basah) and are sun-dried to perfection, ensuring the highest quality. Kopi Luwak is known as "The Most Expensive Coffee in the World". Kopi Luwak is coffee that is processed through fermentation from inside the civet's stomach. The civets chooses the coffee fruit that is completely ripe perfectly, then eats it. Civets digestion are relative weak, so the coffee beans are not destroyed, but come out with the civet droppings. The dirt is then washed and cleaned, then dried and then processed into green bean civet coffee that is ready for roasting.

We only produce Kopi Luwak from wild jungle civets. Our network of farmers every morning goes to the forest to look for civet droppings, then we collect and sort them which are still in perfect condition or not damaged.

Wild Luwak Premium Grade Coffee produced by Master Specialty Coffee comes from Aceh Gayo. Our civet coffee is Arabica type. We don't have much stock, only around 100-300 kg per month. Processed with modern technology, our Aceh Gayo Wild Civet Coffee has a special taste and aroma, and consistent coffee quality.
