The measurement principle:
Forming the basis plane and position of the quadrilateral by the four wheel centers, constituting the angle of the wheel aligner by the geometric relationship between the wheel plane and wheel plane with the basic plane together. Calculating the axis of kingpin by the wheel rotation axis during the wheel steering. Constituting run-out compensation by the wheel rotation axis while vehicle moving and angle changes of the wheel plane geometry.

Four target reflectors are mounted above the vehicles four rims then scrolling wheel and continuous shooting the geometry of the reflective target board by the camera, analyzing the changes of the geometry by computer then to get the corresponding positional parameters of the wheels and chassis and so on.
The technology is the use of machine vision technology and computer information processing technology.
