BFS consists primarily of silicates, aluminosilicates, and calcium-alumina-silicates. BFS forms when slagging agents (e.g., iron ore, coke ash, and limestone) are added to the iron ore to remove impurities. The average chemical composition of the material is the following: CaO 36.50% MgO 7.90% Al2O3 11.70% MnO 1.13 % K2O 0.43 % Na2O 0.22% FeO 1.71 % SiO2 38.73% TiO2 0.69% S 0.86% We have available two different lots of slag GRANULATED BLAST FURNACE SLAG The granulated blast-furnace slag is sand-type slag manufactured by spraying high-pressure water jets on a blast-furnace molten slag. We have 3,330 Ton of this material ready for shipment and it can be supplied to the domestic and the overseas markets for cement and ground granulated blast-furnace slag production. AIR COOLED BLAST-FURNACE SLAG This material is manufactured from molten blast-furnace slag by air-cooling process. The product is not crushed and screened. The material at visual inspection appears as formed by lumps of different size. It is classified has a waste with the following EWC Code: 10.02.01. We have available10,300 MT ready for shipment . The material must be crushed in accordance with the specified application and sold as materials for road base course material, rock fiber, coarse concrete aggregates and cement clinker raw materials.
We can provide two different grades of spent aluminium shot. This material is collected after it is used to remove surface contamination of nonferrous metal casting parts ( blast cleaning processes). It is white fused alumina manufactured from calcined alumina classified with the following EWC code: 12 01 17. We are proposing about 1000 1200 Mt/ton monthly of iron slag derived from the desulphurisation skimming process. This material is a iron by- product that is encapsulated in varying levels of contaminants (S,Mg,Si). In order to enhance its usability, the material is processed and screened. Tin Cans may be baled without the removal of paper labels, but free of other non metallic contaminations. Our products don’t contain neither dangerous materials nor inflammable, radioactive or explosive substances. Packing: The material is pressed and ready for melting (R4 recovery); Average Bale Size: 30cm x 30cm x 30cm; Average Bale weight: about 270Kg Storing: The stock collected is stored in open air on cemented flooring. Mill scale, is formed on the outer surfaces of plates, sheets or profiles when they are being produced by rolling hot iron or steel billets in rolling or steel mills. It looks like a hard brittle sand and is mainly composed of iron oxides, mostly ferric, and is bluish black in color. Being produced during the reheating, conditioning and hot rolling operation for the production of steel articles, the mill scale initially adheres to the steel surface and protects it from atmospheric corrosion, provided no break occurs in this coating.
