Application
The FTT-01 Thickness Tester employs a mechanical scanning technique to accurately measure the thickness of diverse materials, including plastic films, sheets, fabrics, textiles, membranes, paper, foil, wafers, and more. During the process, a sample is placed on the instrument's base, and a weighted presser foot is gently lowered onto it. Subsequently, the instrument measures the displacement or gap between the base and the presser foot, providing an accurate measurement of the specimen's thickness. This method is invaluable for quality control and material assessment in industries where precise thickness measurements are vital.
