Yirsa Farms is a 5th generation family farm established in 1918, operating over 100 years in the fertile Golden Triangle region of Montana. We specialize in premium pulse crops and grains:

Located near Big Sandy, Montana, we produce high-quality crops in a clean, dry climate ideal for pulse and grain production.
Our pulse crops, green lentils and dry green peas are grown without pre-harvest glyphosate or desiccants, making them ideally suited for Japan and South Korea's strict MRL (maximum residue limit) requirements. Every lot is fully traceable from field to container using our proprietary farm management software, Forge.ag. We offer both pre-plant contract growing and spot inventory, and can supply in 50-lb polypropylene bags or bulk FIBC totes.
We are a direct farm supplier not a trading company. That means buyers receive full origin traceability, grow-to-spec capability, and a consistent supply relationship with the people who actually grow the crop. Yirsa Farms is certified for export and is an active supplier to international food manufacturers and importers across the Asia-Pacific region.

Our Management

Yirsa Farms is owned and operated by Justin Yirsa, the 5th generation of the Yirsa family to farm this land in Big Sandy, Montana. The farm was established in 1918 by Anton Yirsa, a Czech immigrant homesteader, and has been in continuous family operation for over 100 years. Justin manages all aspects of the operation including crop planning, production, quality control, and export sales.
In addition to the farm, Justin founded and developed Forge.ag, a proprietary farm management software platform used to manage field records, spray logs, harvest data, and full export traceability documentation. This technology investment gives Yirsa Farms a unique ability to provide buyers with detailed, verifiable traceability reports for every shipment.
