The Cocoland factory located in the coconut triangle of Sri Lanka began over a 100 years ago, as a small oil mill using traditional Sri Lankan methods to produce coconut oil for its surrounding villages . As Cocoland grew , so did the community around it with over 2 , 000 people being employed in the company , from workers at the factories to the farmers working on our plantations. The once small oil mill has now evolved into a state of the art facility , catering to leading brands & retailers around the world .

Strategically located in the Indian Ocean, a country with an environment that stimulates business growth. The company is ideally positioned to cater to the global market. As far as the logistics are concerned for exports / shipping - the port of Colombo while enhancing its status as a hub - port in the Indian Ocean becoming the biggest port and the commercial centre of the South Asian region. The coconut triangle stretches from Kurunagala, Gampaha & Puttalam, is marked on the map. Our factories and plantations are located within the coconut triangle where the freshest nuts are plucked and brought in and processed to obtain the finest of Virgin coconut oil and other coconut based products.
