White fused alumina is white and harder and more brittle than brown fused alumina micro powder. It features strong cutting force, steady chemical property and excellent insulation. Its knoop's hardness is 2200-2300kg/mm2.It can be shaped, non-shaped, normal bulk density and high bulk density. All products will be supplied according to customers different requirements.
Brown fused alumina is brown and features toughness and impact strength. It can bear high pressure. Its knoop hardness is 1800-2200kg/mm2.It`s suitable for making bonded and coated abrasive tools, wet or dry blasting, super precision grinding and polishing, making high quality refractory materials, grinding carbon steel, alloy, malleable cast iron, hard bronze and semi-conductor materials.
Use:

At a visual inspection the material is a hard brittle sand and is mainly composed of iron oxides, mostly ferric, and is bluish black in colour, but it also contains considerable alloying elements such as chromium and nickel.
The recovery ratio after melting in furnace for the most valuable alloy elements is:
- Ni: 3.5 - 4.5%
- Cr: 6-8%
From the chemical and physical analysis performed on the scrap, and according to the European environmental rules, the material has been classified as a special non dangerous waste, listed in green list. In particular the mill scale can be classified as follows:

Prperties: The prduct is a white needle crystal r pwder. SP. GR. 2.8823.13g/ cm3, sublimatin temp. 1272Celsiur scale.Its slightly sluble in water and greatly sluble in HF liquid. The chemical prperty fr the high density aluminum fluride is very steady, but that cntains certain crystal water will be decmpsed int Al23 at high temperature with HF being released.
