The On Load Tap Changer, automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is used to compensate the voltage drop in the electrical networkâ?? so that customers at the line end receive the same average voltage value as those closer to the source.
The voltage value reduction affects the operational quality of the rotating machines and increases the losses due to the high current drawn due to the voltage reduction. It also affects the quality of the illuminating system.
EGYTRAFO Group produces the Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) with rating up to 630 A & 9 tapping positions.
-The AVR is flange mounted (ON TANK) or (IN TANK) type according to the rating of the transformer and a remote tap changer control cubicle (RTCC)
Our ranges are up to 630 A, up to 22 KV and more than 5 taping positions on request.
