A smart card is a card that is embedded with either a microprocessor and a memory chip or only a memory chip with non-programmable logic . Card bodies are made of a three-layer structure. The overall thickness of all materials must be in 0.81030mm.All structures are laminated to obtain the proper surface finishing and card structure. Figure-1 as below illustrates the three-layer structure. The printable face in transparent PVC/modified sheet is specified by client. The offset printing is done on side 1 for both sheets a and b which is 0.2mm thickness core. The sheet a , sheet b and sheet c assembly is done by applying a silk screened thermal adhesive layer on side 2 of sheet a.
