Structure of desander cone:
Hydro cyclone filter consists of feed, outlet and inlet. hydro cyclone filter has one inlet that makes sure mud enters the cone along tangent direction. hydro cyclone filter has two outlets: the smaller at the bottom called underflow outlet or discharge outlet which denser or larger particles pass by, and the larger on the top called overflow outlet which lighter or finer mud pass by. The small inlet, outlet and small diameter needs high pressure while processing little capacity. On the contrary, the big inlet, outlet and big diameter needs low pressure while processing large capacity.
The basic principle of the hydrocyclone is to separate the two-phase or multi-phase mixture of liquid-liquid, liquid-solid, liquid-gas and so on with a certain density difference under the action of centrifugal force. The mixed liquid is tangentially flowed into the cyclone with a certain pressure, and a high-speed rotating flow field is generated in the cylindrical cavity. The high density components in the mixture under the action of the swirling flow at the same time along the axial downward movement along the radial outward movement in the reach of the cone down along the wall along the wall, and from the bottom outlet, thus forming The small vortex component moves toward the central axis and forms an upwardly moving internal vortex in the center of the axis, and then is discharged from the overflow port, thus achieving the purpose of two-phase separation.
