Plastic spacers are used extensively in the construction industry as support for concrete cover. It could be used in columns, slabs, piling works and height/cover generally ranges from 15mm all the way to 240mm.
Plastic spacers comes generally in 2 types:
1) Plastic Wheel Spacers that are used in columns or walls, this allow for consistency in cover with formwork to ensure consistency after casting.
2)Heavy Duty Chair Spacers are used for slabs/roads/precasting etc. Our heavy duty chairs are equivalent of G40 in concrete spacers.
