Mill scale, is formed on the outer surfaces of plates, sheets or profiles when they are being produced by rolling hot iron or steel billets in rolling or steel mills.
It looks like a hard brittle sand and is mainly composed of iron oxides, mostly ferric, and is bluish black in color.
Being produced during the reheating, conditioning and hot rolling operation for the production of steel articles, the mill scale initially adheres to the steel surface and protects it from atmospheric corrosion, provided no break occurs in this coating.
From the chemical and physical analysis performed on the scrap, and according to the european environmental rules, the material has been classified as a special non dangerous waste, listed in green list

The origin of fish scales is from deep sea, shallow sea and fresh water (rivers and lakes). The scales are washed multiple times with clean water and sun dried or machine dried. No chemicals are used. Moisture percentage controlling and packaging are monitored carefully. Our fish scales are mainly used in producing ossein or collagen peptide. Product Description
1. In a pan, empty the contents of this pack and add 70 ml (Approx. 1/2 cup) of water and mix well without lumps.
2. Cook for 10 minutes in medium flame with continuous stirring & add ghee (Approx. 200 ml) at frequent intervals during the process.
3. Apply Ghee in a plate & transfer the Mysore Pak. Decorate with Nuts/Dry fruits of your choice if needed. Cut into pieces once it is cooled.{Ideally cutting is done when it is slightly warm only to avoid breakage}
