Application
The belly type cable boxes are designed to branch off and connect small to large consumers. Using PVC or
VPE insulated cables and screw compact tap connectors.
Design
Divided, halogen free, hinged housing, especially designed to provide enough space for the tap connector. Parallel placed branch off cable, pre glued seals and pre cut gaskets which can be easily adjusted to cable size. Electrical and mechanical protection is achieved by RLSWtype cast resin ISO PUR K 2000 or fast curing ISOFILL A2.

Mounting
Branch off and main cable are connected with compact tap connectors or single connectors. The com
plete mounted cable box is sealed via the large opening at the top of the cable box and afterwards
closed with a sliding cap.
The cable ditch may be closed quickly since the sealing compounds are fast curing systems.

High-density polyethylene, the English name is "High-Density Polyethylene", referred to as "HDPE". HDPE is a highly crystalline, non-polar thermoplastic resin. The original HDPE has a milky white appearance and a semi-transparent shape in a thin section. PE has excellent resistance to most of the characteristics of living and industrial chemicals. Certain types of chemicals can cause chemical corrosion, such as corrosive oxidants (concentrated nitric acid), aromatic hydrocarbons (xylene), and halogenated hydrocarbons . The polymer is non-hygroscopic and has good water vapor resistance and can be used for packaging purposes. HDPE has excellent electrical properties, especially high dielectric strength, making it suitable for wire and cable. Medium to high molecular weight grades has excellent impact resistance, both at ambient temperatures and even at low temperatures of -40F.
