Copra is coconut flesh that has gone through a drying process. Copra is usually used as a head derivative product which of course has a very important role as a raw material for making coconut oil and its derivatives. Copra can also be used as animal feed.
There are 3 types of copra, including white copra or wet copra, smoked copra or dried copra, and sun-dried copra.
High quality copra is made from coconuts that are 300 days old and weigh around 3-4 kg, resulting in copra with a water content of about 6-7 percent so that it is not susceptible to nuisance organisms

Coconut meal or copra meal is produced from the ripe fruit (nut) of the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera). The nut is split, and the kernel is removed and dried below 6% moisture. This meal is called copra meal and still contains the oil.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
High levels of copra meal should not be suddenly included in the diet of poultry (even if the diet is nutritionally sound). Introduce copra meal into the diet slowly over time. This will overcome the initial reluctance by stock to eating copra meal.
Copra meal can be used in diets for poultry, cattle, and horses of all ages except very young stock.
The protein in copra meal is low in lysine and histidine. The high fiber level will limit the use of the meal in poultry and cattle feeds.
