Model KFT Temperature Indicating Controllers indicate and control a process variable by converting its temperature change into mechanical displacement of a bellows through change in expansion of liquid-fill by temperature or change in gas-fill pres-sure by temperature.
Indicating transmitters and indicating transmitting controllers also are available as well as indicating controllers. The controllers are available either in the local type to set the set-point value with the knob on the instrument or in the cascade type(remote type) to set the set-point value with a pneumatic set-point signal.

An Indicator Post is a fire protection device used to show the open/closed status of an underground valve (usually a gate valve controlling water supply to hydrants or sprinkler systems). It is commonly called a Post Indicator Valve (PIV).

Working Principle
The indicator post is connected to an underground valve stem.
When the valve is operated (open/close), the indicator window or flag moves.
It clearly shows:
OPEN (water supply ON)
SHUT / CLOSED (water supply OFF)

This allows quick visual confirmation during fire emergencies.

The integrated temperature transmitter encapsulates the temperature sensor and transmitter circuit in the same stainless steel housing, eliminating a separate signal converter. The sensor part can be a Pt100 RTD, Type K thermocouple, or Type E thermocouple, directly contacting the measured medium. The transmitter module linearly converts resistance or EMF signals into a 4-20mA current signal, which can be transmitted over thousands of meters without degradation. This integrated design greatly reduces wiring points and potential failure points, significantly lowering installation and maintenance costs. The all-metal housing effectively shields against electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for temperature monitoring near variable-frequency motors and high-power equipment.
