Overview
This fully automatic drying system is designed for crystalline sugars, sugar alcohols, and other crystalline products, including dextrose, sucrose, xylitol, maltitol, erythritol, mannitol, sorbitol, fructose, citric acid, MSG, and amino acids. GMP-compliant units available for pharmaceutical applications. Also serves petrochemical, biopharmaceutical, and food processing industries.
Working Principle
Crystal granules fall by gravity into a cylindrical fixed fluid bed dryer, fluidized by hot air from the bottom for rapid moisture removal. After pre-drying, crystals pass through a rotary airlock valve to a rectangular vibrating fluid bed dryer for final drying, then to a cooling section with cold air. Finally, cooled crystals are discharged to a vibrating screen where oversized agglomerates are removed.
