Ceylon Cinnamon, grown mainly in Sri Lanka, is known as the true cinnamon. It has very low coumarin, making it safer and healthier than Cassia, which contains high levels of this compound. With its mild, sweet flavor and gentle aroma, Ceylon Cinnamon is easy to grind into a fine powder because of its delicate layered quills. It is rich in antioxidants and natural oils that may support blood sugar control, digestion, and overall wellness. Due to its limited supply and superior quality, Ceylon Cinnamon is valued worldwide as a premium spice.
