The black tea grade bop is one of the widely consumed ceylon tea grades the world over. Once it is infused, it yields a medium reddish brew which is slightly sweet in taste and has a solid aroma.

Wheat bran pellets are made from wheat bran, a by-product of dry milling of common wheat into flour and grits production, which predominantly consists of husks and variable proportions of the endosperm, by adding a suitable binder and then pressing the composition under high pressure in pelletizing machines or extruders to form cylindrically shaped pellets.

In milling, flour is directly separated from bran in a one-step milling and screening and this type of bran has a higher starch content and a higher nutritive value. Wheat bran is suitable for livestock feeding preferably for cattle and very palatable to most classes of animals. Wheat bran is a bulky feed that can be used to lighten dense, heavy feed mixtures. It can be readily incorporated into mashes. Good bran should have a fair coating of flour and be in the form of large, dry and non-adherent flakes. It is usually sold raw or pelleted.

Wheat bran pellets generally have the same characteristics as the original plant residues, in particular in terms of the product's oil and water content. Wheat bran pellets are light gray in color. A darker or brownish color is indicative of excessively high temperatures during processing or excessively long storage.

Smaller than BOP1 with presence of tips, but larger than FBOPF1

The leaf is more coarse and broken and includes a fair amount of tips. They are shorter and smaller in size than BOP 1 and bears a very mellow flavor.

The ceylon black tea grade FBOP consists of a slightly larger leaf than bop. Once it is infused, it yields a pale red brew which is sweet in taste and has a strong aroma. This tea contains white tips.

Bopf (broken orange pekoe fannings) :

The ceylon black tea grade BOPF consists of a small leaf size which is ideal for tea bags. Once it is infused, it yields a dark red brew which is mildy coarse in taste and has a notable aroma.

Broken Mix (BM)

Mixed flaky leaf tea. Can have more fiber and stalk than BOP 1A. BM tea only picks the finest quality blend obtained by Ceylon high grown teas, delivering the ideal color, taste and aroma. It contains tea leaves which are known to have the properties to stimulate the mind gently whilst simultaneously relaxing the body. It gives you self-confidence, because it projects you as a discerning person with all the signs of inner vitality.

Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe (FBOP)

Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe Same style of FBOP1 but slightly smaller in size and consisting few tips. but larger than FBOPF1. FBOP Tea offered by us here is an unblended, unflavored and freshly packed tea. This is a highly sought after grade of Ceylon black tea and it is one of the best selling grades. This grade is well made to make sure it is true to the grade. Manufactured with young tender tea buds and tips, this has short slightly wiry, less twisted broken leaf and consists of few silvery tips too. Consists of smaller leaves compared to other regular OP varieties. This grade quickly brews and has a rich aromatic scent and the liquor generally has a reddish color and a mellow flavory taste.

Broken Orange Pekoe 1A (BOP1A)

BOP1A is Broken Orange Pekoe 1A Tea. It is a flaky leaf grade with a neat appearance. Consists of leaves that are slightly curly but fully open leaf. Has a light orangish liquor with a neutral taste. This tea is made of Broken leaf particles sorted out of larger and heavier leaf grades like Pekoe. For an optimal liquor, it is better to leave these slightly longer to brew compared to smaller leaf grades.
