The SG4 gravel grid, also known as the paddock grid, is designed for the most demanding conditions. The main applications of the SG4 gravel grid include parking lots, heavy traffic roads and horse paddocks, where the pressure is distributed more point-wise. Behind the above-average strength of the SG4 gravel grid is a slightly more closed structure and thick walls , which prevents the movement of gravel (in the case of parking lots and heavy transport roads) and sand in the case of horse paddocks. In addition, the SG4 model allows natural drainage of rainwater, creating a SUDS compliant surface.
The SG4 model, thanks to its exceptional durability, exceeding standard gravel grids, makes it an excellent replacement for paving stones, for example. SG4 gravel grids in accordance with DIN EN 1072:1985 can withstand a permissible pressure of up to 500 t/m², which makes them extremely durable and reliable even under the harshest conditions. Installation of these gravel grids is simple thanks to intuitive click connections.
