Felt making is an labor intensive process which requires basic skills which can be acquired during the work process. The raw material is obtained by sheep's wool which is 100% pure wool which is imported by Nepal from New Zealand.

In the foothills of the Himalayas, the Daphne plant locally known as "Lokta" grows in abundance at altitudes over 6500 feet. The main raw material for manufacturing our product is Lokta plant. Our paper is made from bark of Lokta plant.
The Lokta bark is collected by local farmers and village co-operatives from the community forest. It is cleaned and cut into small pieces, beaten with a wooden hammer into the fibers and kept in a metal drum. Ash and water is added to it and boiled to form the pulp. The pulp is then poured into wooden frames and left in the sun light to dry. Thus, the natural cream paper is produced.
The natural paper is transported to our factory. The paper is graded for product making or various styles of papers making. We smoothen up the paper and use as content pages for our journal, stationery sets etc. We process the cream papers by coloring, hand block printing or silk screen printing with modern design which is used on covers of Journal, Albums, Stationery, and Boxes or Papers itself as final product for Gift wraps.

This machine is also called as electric loom or electric weaving machine in Nepal as the main function of this machine is to weave cloth.

This weaving machine comes with variety of weaving sizes from 3 ft loom to 5 ft loom. Majority of weaving process is done using 5 ft loom machine. This machine engages AC/DC power supply as requested by the customer upon their usage and mode of electricity. For solar panel as electrical source, DC weaving loom is preferred while the customers using NEA supply, AC power is preferred. There is no any difference otherwise in the functioning of the machine by using these two different systems in this electric weaving machine. These machines are called semi automatic but they run on fully automatic mode once the cloth are warped through warping machine in them.

We manufacture electric warping machine too. The cost of the weaving machine ranges from 250,000 to 550,000 NPR for the electrical system machine and the cost of electric warping drum/machine ranges from 180000 to 260000 depending on the model of the warping drum.
