Impregnating Pitch is a special low QI coal tar pitch processed from high-temperature coal tar through fractional distillation and vacuum purification. With low viscosity, strong permeability and high coking value, it is the core raw material for graphite electrode impregnation. It effectively fills the internal micropores of carbon blanks, significantly improves the density, mechanical strength and electrical conductivity of graphite electrodes after secondary calcination. It is widely used in steelmaking graphite electrodes, aluminum electrolysis carbon anodes and various carbon composite materials.
Using high-temperature coal tar as raw material, remove light oil components through fractional distillation, then adopt vacuum flash evaporation technology to separate low QI impregnating pitch from common binder pitch. Basalt fiber is a kind of inorganic fiber material. Chopped basalt fiber is an inorganic mineral fiber with a length of less than 50mm and can be evenly dispersed in cement concrete.
2. Characteristics of chopped basalt fibers
(1) The naturalness of raw materials. Because the raw material for producing continuous basalt fiber depends on the natural volcanic extrusive rock, there are no ingredients harmful to human health except that it is inherently high in chemical stability and thermal stability.
