SMMS multilayer nonwovens (layers: spunbond-meltblown-meltblown-spanbond) are made from endless polypropylene yarns that are thermally bonded. - SMMS materials serve as a barrier layer that prevents the penetration of bacteria. - Softer than non-woven spunbond - Excellent moisture retention, but at the same time they have good breathability. - Resistant to tearing and stretching, perfectly retain their shape - Resistant to the spread of microorganisms. SMMS materials are intended for use in the medical industry for the manufacture of operating disposable clothing and underwear.
