DSA Anode
DSA anode, also known as dimensionally stable anodes, are titanium or niobium substrate anodes coated with mixed oxide catalysts of noble metals; composed of different elements such as iridium, ruthenium, tantalum, platinum and rhodium. Depending on the gas produced in the anode during the electrochemical oxidation reaction, DSA anode can be divided into chlorine precipitation anodes and oxygen precipitation anodes, respectively.
With high conductivity, long-term stability and strong corrosion resistance, DSA electrodes can be used as electrolytic anodes, which are widely used in the chlor-alkali industry, water treatment, seawater desalination, sodium hypochlorite production, electrolytic deposition and metal plating processes.

Principle of operation
DSA anodes consist primarily of a substrate material (usually titanium) coated with a thin layer of precious metal oxides (e.g. ruthenium, iridium and titanium oxide). These oxides provide the anode with the necessary electrical conductivity and catalytic properties for efficient electrochemical reactions.The chemical composition of the DSA anode facilitates the formation of a stable passivation film, which prevents corrosion and ensures a longer service life compared to conventional anodes.
System Composition and Structure
The DSA coated titanium anode consists of a titanium substrate with a uniform and continuous noble metal oxide coating. This structure provides excellent conductivity and stability during operation. The use of different precious metals in the coating can be customized for specific application requirements.

MMO Titanium electrode is the process of using electricity to break down water into hydrogen (H 2 ) and oxygen (O 2 ). MMO Coated Titanium Anodes are the anode portion of hydrogen electrolysis. MMO-Coated Titanium Anodes are also known as dimensionally stable anodes, where MMO is an acronym for mixed metal oxide.
MMO Coated Titanium anodes have a longer service life than conventional anodes. Its mixed metal oxide coating protects the titanium anode from corrosion and extends its service life. In addition, the coating increases the surface area of the anode, which improves reaction efficiency and ensures efficient operation over time. This allows the use of higher current densities and lower operating voltages, thereby reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
