ES HF 40 Mainly be used for surfacing sealing surface of high pressure valves that work temperature below 600C .

Depend on elements of Si, Mo, Nb, Ni, V to intensify the deposited metal to be a kind of austenite matrix which with few ferrites and it has higher high temperature hardness,good heat stability and it has good performance of high temperature abrasion-resisting, heat fatigue resistance and erosion resistance.

The deposited metal will be the longer of the aging time the better the abrasion-resisting and more hardness.

Notice:

* The rod should be redrying at 250 �°C for 1 hour before use.

To guarantee hardness, the deposited metal should not be lower than 5 mm after machining & should not be too high to avoid cracks.

ES 650 is our basic coated electrode for wear resistant surfacing parts of steel, cast steel and high Mn-steel, subject to abrasion, metal-to-metal wear, impact and/or compression stresses.

Deposit weld metal has a martensitic structure, hardness of pure weld deposit approx. 600HB.

After welding the deposit can be machined by grinding only.

ES 650 is particularly suitable under conditions of heavy abrasion and friction, combined with impact.

Ideally suitable for applications involving rolling, sliding and metal-to-metal wear. ES 33 is a basic coated electrode that is highly resistant to abrasion wear caused by coarse, hard minerals.

It has a highly concentrated chromium carbide in its structure. ES 33 should be preferred for parts that are exposed to high impact. Preheating is generally not required.

Metal recovery is approx... 220%.

Re-draying is 300-350 C for min. 2h.

Typical application:

Crushers, Mixer blades, Digger teeth, Guides, Coal mining, buckets, pumps, screws, loaders, sand mining, cement industry, wear plates, etc.

It should not be used for more than three passes, interpass temperature should be 300-350C.

Using a buffer layer with ES 307-17 for 12-14 % Mn steels before hardfacing.
