Arabica Coffee Gayo

Gayo, which also means nice, is an ethnic group with their own language, strong music and dance culture, and society of highly educated scholars. The Gayo tribe has a population of 85.000, and they live predominantly in the scenic, pine-studded mountainous region of Aceh province on the island of Sumatera, accessible only by road and hence fairly remote. Also known as Urang Gayo, they have traditionally been rice farmers and traders.

Aceh Gayo Arabica Coffee comes from the Gayo highlands, where the superb tropical volcanic soil provides a unique earthy, deep, rich taste. The crop is organically grown without fertilizers and is widely known as green beans for being environmentally friendly. The people of Central Aceh developed the skill of coffee planting with the arrival of Dutch East Indies to the area around 1904.Grown above 1.200 meters, Gayo semi-washed Arabica coffee has thrived and is consistently rated as one of the best among Indonesia's many coffee growing regions. This lot has been hand-sorted a third time before export, hence it is called Triple Pick. This coffee has a light earthy notes with a full body and smooth aftertaste. It is mild in acidity, has caramel fruity tastes and bittersweet spicy.

100% Arabica specialty coffee represents the pinnacle of coffee craftsmanship, celebrated for its exceptional quality, refined taste, and captivating aroma.

Grown in carefully selected regions at high altitudes, Arabica beans thrive in optimal climatic conditions, where cool temperatures, rich soil, and abundant rainfall contribute to their superior flavor development. Each bean is meticulously hand-picked at peak ripeness, ensuring only the finest cherries are chosen.

This careful selection process preserves the natural sweetness and nuanced characteristics that define specialty coffee.

The cultivation and processing of Arabica beans are carried out with precision and respect for tradition. After harvesting, the beans undergo gentle processing methods-such as washed or natural techniques-that enhance their delicate flavor profiles while maintaining clarity and consistency. Roasters then approach each batch with meticulous attention, aiming to highlight the inherent qualities of the beans without overwhelming them. The result is a coffee that delights the senses with every sip.

Specialty Arabica coffee is distinguished by its balanced acidity, medium body, and vibrant complexity. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of flavors that can range from subtle chocolate and nutty undertones to bright fruitiness and floral hints. Its aromatic profile is equally enchanting, releasing fragrances that evoke everything from freshly baked bread to blooming flowers. The finish is smooth and lingering, leaving a satisfying taste that invites slow, appreciative sipping.

Beyond its flavor, 100% Arabica specialty coffee embodies a dedication to quality at every stage from farm to cup. It reflects sustainable farming practices, ethical sourcing, and a commitment to supporting coffee-growing communities. For coffee enthusiasts, it is more than a beverage; it is an experience a celebration of craftsmanship, heritage, and the remarkable diversity of flavors that only the finest Arabica beans can offer.
