The Unwrought Refined Lead Ingots are being sold for the insurance company. According to the claim, the bundles were stacked too high and fell through the concrete platform; the ingots were recovered from the Mississippi River and may contain some silt on the surface of the ingots.
The salvage sale consists of four hundred sixty-two (462) bundles of unwrought refined lead ingots. Each bundle contains forty-two (42) lead bars in six (6) rows, seven (7) tiers high, banded with steel bands, and each bundle weighs approximately 1.1MT. A hard count will be conducted next week to confirm the quantity, as there may be several additional bundles.
