Application It is used to kill weeds, especially annual broadleaf weeds and grasses that compete with crops.

Compared with sodium and potassium glyphosate salts, ammonium glyphosate salts have the advantages of being less prone to caking, having lower manufacturing costs and higher herbicidal activity. Monsanto Corporation of the United States developed a glyphosate ammonium salt soluble granule agent (SG), which was mass-produced in 1993. After screening, the Mon44068 adjuvant was finally selected for this dosage form. Its most prominent feature is that it significantly reduces toxicity to mammals and water, and it also has high herbicidal activity. This dosage form is a dust-free extruded granule with an average bulk density of 1.45kg/ L. It can rapidly disintegrate into a solution under a wide range of different temperatures and concentrations in reference water conditions (soft water or hard water). Meanwhile, it retains the convenience of liquid dosage form use and the ease of handling in packaging containers (can be packed in paper bags). At the beginning of this century, the first commercialized product launched by the company in the Chinese market was the "747 Farmer's Joy" ChemicalbookSG. It is a soluble granulation agent containing 74.7% ammonium glyphosate salt, 20% additives and excipients. It appears as light yellow or pale yellow granules with a particle size of 1 to 3mm. When put into water, it can dissolve rapidly and the solution is slightly acidic. Because this product has low toxicity, is solvent-free and dust-free, it became a new product that farmers welcomed and loved at that time. In China, Xin 'an Group Company has developed the first glyphosate ammonium salt soluble granule agent "Nongwang 757SG", which contains 75.7% glyphosate ammonium salt. At present, there are also higher concentration products of glyphosate ammonium salt soluble granules developed in China, such as 80% and 88.8%, etc. The main purpose is to reduce costs and inventory. In terms of the current quality of glyphosate ammonium salt soluble granules both at home and abroad, domestic products may still have a certain gap compared with similar foreign products, mainly reflected in the quality and dosage of the additives used.

Solubility In water 11.6 g/l (25 oC). Insoluble in common organic solvents, e.g. acetone, ethanol and xylene. The alkali-metal and amine salts are readily soluble in water.
Stability Glyphosate and all its salts are non-volatile, do not photochemically degrade and are stable in air. Glyphosate is stable to hydrolysis at pH 3, 6 and 9 (5-35 ¡ãC).
Applications :
Mode of action Non-selective systemic herbicide, absorbed by the foliage, with rapid translocation throughout the plant. Inactivated on contact with soil.
Uses Control of annual and perennial grasses and broad-leaved weeds, pre-harvest, post-planting/pre-emergence and in stubble, in cereals, peas, beans, oilseed rape, flax and mustard, at c. 1.5-2 kg/ha; as a directed spray in vines and olives, at c. 4.3 kg/ha; in orchards, pasture, forestry and industrial weed control, at c. 4.3 kg/ha. As an aquatic herbicide, at c. 2 kg/ha.

Direction of Use : Plant Protection Equipment : Knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat fan or flood jet nozzle is to be used while applying the weedicide Gator rocking sprayer & Knapsack weedicide sprayer can also be used. Application areas
Glyphosate is widely used in chemical weed control in orchards, mulberry gardens, tea gardens, rubber plantations, grassland renewal, forest fire roads, railways, highway wastelands and no-till land. In addition, glyphosate is also used for weed control of glyphosate-resistant genetically modified crops.
The global market demand for glyphosate is large, with sales reaching more than US$5.3 billion in 2018, accounting for about 42% of the sales of the top 15 herbicides.
Safety
Glyphosate is considered a low-toxic herbicide that has a certain irritation to the eyes and skin, but does not accumulate in animals, has no teratogenic, mutagenic, or carcinogenic effects, has low toxicity to fish and aquatic organisms, and is non-toxic to bees and birds.


Iminodiacetic acid is an important intermediate in one of the two main industrial processes used to manufacture the herbicide glyphosate. It is used in capillary electrophoresis for modulating peptide mobility. It is also used as a precursor for the manufacture of the indicator xylenol orange. It is also used in chemotherapeutic treatment for metal poisoning. It acts as a tridendate ligand and forms metal complexes. Furthermore, it is used as a chelating agent that strongly binds transition metals. Iminodiacetic acid can be used for removal of toxic metal ions from water.
