The purpose of this document is to provide instructions for the use of TC200A an oilsoluble ultrahigh alkali
magnesium additive specifically designed to inhibit vanadium in ashforming crude and residual fuels for gas
turbines
TC200A additive is a turbinequality oilsoluble organomagnesium fuel additive prepared by reacting high
purity magnesium compounds with carboxylic acid It possesses excellent physical and chemical properties and
is proprietary in its formulation The additive can be easily dissolved in heavy fuel oil in any proportion
The primary function of TC200A additive is to supply available MgO which reacts with V2O5 present in heavy
fuel oil forming a highmeltingpoint vanadium magnesium compound through chemical combination This
compound effectively inhibits vanadium corrosion and results in the formation of dispersed ash that is carried
away with the turbine exhaust gas
The recommended dosage of TC200A additive in heavy fuel oil is around 3 to 35 MgV3 to 35 or as per the
instructions provided by the gas turbine manufacturer When calculating the additive dosage the nickel content
in the heavy fuel oil must be considered along with vanadium
TC200A additive is manufactured in strict accordance with GE standard GEK28150B It exhibits stability to
hydrolysis is oilsoluble nonvolatile and harmless The additive is suitable for use in heavyduty gas turbines
employed in industrial marine and utility applications

Application:
Series zyb highly vacuum transformer oil regeneration machine is used for overhauling and installing the electric insulating equipments which can running as energized, such as transformer, oil switch, and mutual inductor. Also it is especially applied to regenerate and purify the seriously exhausted insulating oil and make the oils reach the international standard. As a special equipment for dehydration, degassing, purification process of various kinds of insulating oils in electrical transformers and circuit breakers etc. It is designed on vacuum drying principle, coalescence and separation technique, accurate fine filtration and other zhongnengs'patented technique.

The oil technical data after treatment:
1. Gas content less than 0.1%
2. Impurity size less than 1ª8m without free carbon
3. Oil dielectric strength (breakdown voltage) more than 75kv
4. Acidity value less than 0.01 mgkoh/g
5. Dielectric loss factors at 90íµ less than 0.001

Features:
1. Besides the common vacuum oil purifier's function of dewatering, degassing, and eliminating impurities, this machine can regenerate the seriously exhausted oil by removing the polarity materials, such as deep oxides, free carbon in the oil effectively. It can make the seriously exhausted oil reach the normal index like anti-oxidation, acid-base water-solubility.
2. Three ways of using: the vacuum dewatering, degassing, removing impurities system can work independently, so does the regeneration oil system, and also they can work at the same time.
3. Double-stage, high vacuum pressure and high flow rate that help remove water, air, gases, solid particulates and other impurities from oil quickly and efficiently so as to improve the breakdown voltage of oil and maintain its insulating property.

It is apply to overhaul and install the electric insulating equipments which are running as energized such as transformer oil, switch oil and mutual inductor oil. It is especially apply to regenerate and purify the seriously deteriorated insulating oil.

Lubricating oil is added 0.1% -0.5%, can be added to the grease 1% -3%.

5) transportation and storage
Transportation is according to the regulation of non-dangerous goods; storage location should be dry, ventilated, away from fire and other dangerous goods.
