Metal deactivator synthesized from DMTD can be used as antioxidant in lubricating oil and inhibit copper corrosion. S-N bond of disulfide bond is introduced into the macromolecule of DMTD, which can enrich the anti-wear property of polymer under extreme pressure. Secondly, DMTD can also be used as anode of battery in electrochemistry. DMTD and non-ferrous metal reaction can be used as color reagent. Secondly, derivatives of DMTD can also be used. The curing crosslinking of halogenated compounds can be used as a curing agent for halogenated rubber and also has a wide range of applications in medicine.

Product Description: This product is an upgraded substitute of T56 1, a traditional thiadiazole derivative. The sulfur content can reach more than 31%. The metal deactivator TH571 is a yellow-brown transparent liquid made from thiadiazole and long molecular chain mercaptan by introducing S and N heteroatoms with anti-wear activity into the main chain of macromolecule and through complex oxidative coupling reaction. The product has excellent oil solubility, Metal Deactivation characteristics, extreme pressure and wear resistance, oxygen resistance, corrosion resistance and the ability to reduce metal activity. Compared with the traditional thiadiazole derivative T561, the modified thiadiazole derivative TH571 has better oil solubility and can form a complete protective film on the surface of copper. The protective film has better corrosion inhibition effect on copper. It is widely used as metal deactivator in automobile engine oil, gear oil and metal cutting fluid, extreme pressure antiwear agent in lubricating oil, and can significantly inhibit the corrosion of copper. The corrosiveness of sulphide produced in lubricating oil during use is an excellent antioxidant. It is used as bearing preservative, antiwear agent and metal deactivator in antiwear hydraulic oil, cryogenic hydraulic oil, steam turbine oil and gasoline engine oil.
