CAMBODGE is a tropical fruit, with a berry having a size of an apple. Green in colour but turns yellow and then brown & finally black once it has been properly sun-dried.
Botanical Name is Garcinia cambogia. In French: Gamboge & In German: Gummiguttbaum.
In my native state of Kerala (India), this beautiful evergreen tree will be usually found near small stream or river side. The leaves are always green and shiny. The tree symbolises good health even by its look. Some study has proved that, this fruit is widely used in anti-obesity drugs.
