We Greenland Fresco entered into the millets export from India. To create global demand and to provide nutritional food to the people, Government of India had proposed to the United Nations for declaring 2023 as International Year of Millets (IYoM-2023).
We are contributing to some extent to create International demands for millets & we are supplying Green Millets to various International Markets.
As we are from Karnataka, we have the strong hold in sourcing the product. We are sourcing the Dry Ginger & some other products directly from Farmers, FPOs & Co-Operatives by eliminating the middlemen. With this farmers are getting better price for their products.
We are continuously meeting the Farmers & FPO those who are producing Fresh & Dry Ginger in Karnataka and guiding them to handle & produce the product as per the International Market requirements.
In association with Deshpande Foundation, Hubli we met Farmer Producer Company located at Phala village & we conducted farmers training program at Horticulture Department, Mundagod. We trained farmers about Fresh Ginger harvesting methods, washing & maintaining product size & quality as per international market & also we gave information about international market insights.
We also participated in Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) jointly organized on 22nd December 2022 by Karnataka State Spices Development Board, Hubballi & Spice Board India, Cochin and interacted with farmers.
We have been invited as Chief Guest for AGRI-EXPORT TRAINING PROGRAM organized by KAPPEC in association with VTPC on 27th to 30th June 2022. More than 50 budding exporters were participated in the training session & we addressed their queries & trained them with our practical experience which are gaining since last 4 years.
Also we participated in the Export Management Training Program & trained participants about export of agriculture products.
Also we have been invited by the Institutions Innovation Council Lingaraj College as resource persons for the Session on Achieving Value Proposition Fit & Business Fit. We explained college students about our export industry, Export data insights & etc.
