Site Advantage
Single manufacturing unit at Miller Ganj, Ludhiana, Punjab. Gear cutting, finishing and heat treatment are done in house, so blanks go to finished, hardened gears without leaving the shop. Capacity for gears up to 8 ft (2400 mm) diameter. We work from customer drawings, or reverse engineer from a worn or broken sample by measuring module, pressure angle, tooth count, helix angle and mounting dimensions.
Machinery & Materials
Gear blanks in EN8, EN9, EN19 and EN24 steel, case hardening alloy steels for crown wheel and pinion sets, cast iron for low speed and large ring gears, and phosphor bronze for worm wheels. Material certificates available on request.
Stages: blank turning, gear hobbing (spur, helical, worm wheel), gear shaping (internal gears, shouldered gears), bevel gear generation, gear grinding for finished tooth profiles, heat treatment and case hardening, lapping of matched bevel sets, and final inspection of module, pressure angle, tooth count, bore, keyway and hardness. Matched pairs are test run together before dispatch.
