DOTS Living works closely with an established manufacturing facility in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, supported by our design and business operations in Jaipur.
Our manufacturing partner has approximately 40 rug-production frames and looms, supporting hand-tufted and handloom manufacturing for bespoke residential, retail and hospitality projects.
We specialise in made-to-order rugs, offering customised designs, materials, sizes and colourways, with production coordinated through sampling, craftsmanship, finishing and quality checks.
Manufacturing capacity and delivery schedules are confirmed according to project specifications and order volumes.
Machinery & Materials
Our primary materials include New Zealand wool, viscose, botanical silk, and selected speciality fibres, depending on the rug's construction and the buyer's requirements.
Additional components include suitable rug backing materials, finishing inputs and protective packaging for domestic and international dispatch.
We customise material compositions, pile specifications, colourways, and finishing requirements according to approved designs and project specifications.
Our manufacturing processes include hand-tufting and handloom weaving, supported by design development, yarn preparation, colour matching and skilled finishing techniques.
Hand-tufted rugs are produced using manual tufting equipment, while handloom rugs are crafted on weaving looms.
Production progresses through design approval, material selection, rug construction, backing and finishing where applicable, inspection and protective packaging.
We manufacture each project according to its approved specifications, with attention to design accuracy, texture, and finishing quality.
