Since 1956, ILSA has supplied farmers all around the world with products to improve crop yields. It produces and markets biostimulants and products with a specific action, organic and organo-mineral fertilizers, solids and liquids. It boasts a full range of products, to fall within more lines, for both conventional and organic farming. Its mission is to satisfy the growing demand for a highly specialized agriculture by standing firm to the environmental sustainability. C.R.A. (Corporate Research Center), which has been teaming up since 1976 with the most prestigious Universities, bears witness to the will for continuous improvement and enables ILSA to lead the biotechnology industry for nutrition and biostimulation of plants.
The use of renewable raw materials, as well as the enhancement of residues and by-products from other manufacturing sectors through "biorefining", lie at the core of our production processes. To compete worldwide in the mid and long-term, we have to keep innovating, meet the highest standards of safety and operate according to the binding criteria for environmental sustainability. The company has more production facilities, two in Italy (Arzignano (Vicenza) ) and (Molfetta- (Bari) ), two in Brazil (Porto Alegre) and one in Egypt. Five additional plants are expected to be established worldwide in the next few years.
The production plants of the company are highly automated and unique of their kind, as they are the only ones capable of producing modulated release solid organic fertilizers (a process called: FCH Fully Controlled Hydrolysis) and liquid fertilizers with predetermined molecular weight in the production phase (a process called: FCEH Fully Controlled Enzymatic Hydrolysis). In addition to technologies FCH e FCEH, which generate nutrition products featuring the exclusive matrices AGROGEL and GELAMIN, and enzymatic hydrolyzed of Fabaceae of VIRIDEM® programme, the company has developed unparalleled technologies to produce biostimulants products like SFE Supercritical Fluids Extraction.
