The big sized gypsum stones are crushed into granules which are less than 25mm by the crusher. After storing and conveying, they will be conveyed into mill for grinding.Then they will be classified through a analytical engine. The qualified powder will be conveyed to the calciner for calcination, while the unqualified one will return to the mill for further grinding until it is qualified. The calcined gypsum powder (it¡¯s usually called Plaster of Paris) will be stored in the finished product silo for the preparation of plasterboard raw material or directly packing and transport to the customer;s site.
There are two types of the gypsum powder productionline. One uses the direct burning calciner (it is usually used in the small capacity line, such as 20000 or 30000 tons per year), the other uses the fluidized bed furnace (it fits for all the capacity of the gypsum powder line. This style is very popular in the gypsum powder industry.).

However, the gypsum powder used in practical production (such as the gypsum powder for gypsum board, for mould, for plastering) is to dry and dewater the dehydrate gypsum, reduce the content of crystallization water in it, so the standard of crystallization of gypsum powder can meet the needs of all kinds of gypsum powder, because it can change into plaster of pairs. Plaster of pairs can re-integrate with water when it is applied into production, and it can be processed into new type building materials with a high intensity, such as gypsum board, gypsum block, etc.
3. Existing gypsum powder drying technologies the following: the heat, produced by the burning of medium in the stove, is transmitted to frying cauldron and pipe of circumgyrate stove, then gypsum powders are added, after mixture and drying through milling equipments, the finished product is transmitted to the store house. In this way, the quality of gypsum powder is cheesy, because the content of crystallization water is uneven.
