Solar street lights comprise of photovoltaic cells which absorb the solar energy during day time .The photo voltaic cell convert solar energy into electrical energy, which is stored in battery , at the night time the lamp start automatically and it consume battery energy.It consist of led or compact fluorescent lamp (cfl) lamp as light source, rechargeable smf/tubular battery for storage, solar photovoltaic module for charging battery, suitable electronics for proper charging and discharging of batteries and mounting system (pole).
