STANDARD MOUNTING : CAT USA, 200mm Triple grouser track long with 13 bottom rollers and 3 carrier rollers each side. Independent hydraulic motor with Planetary gearbox drive for each track. Propel speed is 1.6 KMPH on plain grounds and 0.8 KMPH on Gradients. Gradeability upto 25% grades with Mast down.

PULLDOWN AND HOIST : Pulldown is achieved through twin hydraulic cylinders and roller chain arrangement.
43’ head travel for handling 40’ long drill pipe.

MAST : Electrically welded square and rectangular steel tube construction
to withstand adverse drilling conditions. Mast is raised and lowered
by two hydraulic cylinders with safety check valves.
Working height of mast 52’ 2” for 40’ long drill pipe.

ROTARY HEAD : Axial piston hydraulic motors driven top head drive through
Planetary gearbox and spur gear reduction with a constant torque
of 1,08,000 Inch-pounds at 0 - 150 RPM infinitely variable speed.

AIR COMPRESSOR : Screw compressor with a capacity of 1880 CFM at 100 PSI.

PRIME MOVER : CAT USA make Diesel engine model C23 or Cummins Make QSK23 800 H.P
running @ 1800 RPM and drives Screw compressor from the flywheel and a set of
Hydraulic pumps from the front PTO. Emission norms as per EPA TIER III.

DRILL PIPE HANDLING : Hydraulically operated 4 pod loader suitable for
handling 10 ¾” dia , 40’ long drill pipe
Hydraulic power breakout system and stem wrench are provided as standard.

LEVELLING JACKS : Three hydraulic jacks – one front 200mm bore, 48” stroke
and two rear 160mm bore, 48” stroke equipped with heavy duty
telescopic guide tubes and lock check valves for safety.

OPERATOR’S CAB : Fully enclosed steel fabricated, sound suppressed to 85dB, spacious,
Double panelled and safety glassed cab with centralised Electric
“Joy stick” controls for operator’s convenience. Adjustable seat for
operator’s comfort and a seat for helper

DUST CONTROL SYSTEM : NVE type dust control system, equipped with hydraulic motor
driven suction blower and dry type filter cartridges.



HYDRAULIC SYSTEM : Open loop hydraulic system for propel, rotation, feed, fan
and auxiliary circuits.
Axial piston, variable volume pumps - 2 no’s,
58 GPM each at 4000 PSI for Tram/Rotation circuit.
Axial piston variable volume pump 18 GPM at 3000 PSI for feed circuit.
Tandem gear pump 64 GPM at 3500 PSI for ROC fan circuit and
26 GPM at 2000 PSI for auxiliary circuit.
Hydraulic oil reservoir with suction strainers and 10 micron return line
filters and pressure filter for pilot line. Relief valves in all circuits.

POWER BREAKOUT : Hydraulically operated Power Breakout system for easy removal
of drill pipes.

NIGHT LIGHTING : Adequate lighting to enable operation of drill at night times.
Lights suitable for 24V, DC supply.

ANGLE HOLE DRILLING : Angle hole drilling kit upto 25 in steps of 5.

WINCH : Hydraulic winch is provided for handling accessories.

ACCESSORIES : Four nos of Drillpipes, Two nos Spindle subs and one no each
of Bitsub, Hammersub,Bit breakout baskets are supplied.
