Silver mirror for furniture is also called waterproof mirror, mercury mirror or silver plated mirror. It is coated with silver nitrate which is not easy to be oxidized and rusted. The production process includes pure water cleaning and polishing, spraying sensitization, chemical silver plating, protective copper coating plating and baking. After silver coating and copper film, there are two other layers painted on the surface, first layer is corrosion resistance paint and second layer is waterproofing paint. The silver mirror is coated by chemical reaction method, different from the deposition method of aluminum mirror.
