HEMA is used in emulsion and resin by aqueous or solvent, taking use of its hydrophilic property and cross-linking property. HEMA is an active raw material to occur chemical syntheses. It used for synthesizing medical high molecular materials, thermosetting coatings and adhesives and also used to make acrylate containing active hydroxyl in the plastics industry.
