Pneumatic Globe Valve
A pneumatic globe valve is a specific type of control valve that employs compressed air or gas to regulate the flow of fluids within a system. The primary purpose of a pneumatic globe valve is to manage and adjust the flow rate, pressure, or level of fluids in a controlled manner. By utilizing pneumatic pressure, these valves can be controlled remotely and integrated into automated systems, allowing for accurate and dynamic adjustments based on input signals.
What is a globe valve?
Throttling globe valves use linear motion to move the closing member in and out of the seat surface. Their bodies feature a spherical cavity around the port area and are designed to regulate the process flow when used in conjunction with an actuator assembly. Many single-seat valve bodies use a cage or cage-type construction to hold the seat ring in place, provide plug guidance, and provide a means of establishing specific valve flow characteristics. Cage or cage type single seat valve bodies can also be easily modified by replacing the valve internals to change the flow characteristics or provide reduced capacity flow, noise attenuation, or to reduce or eliminate cavitation.
Pressure Control Valve
Pressure control valves are capable of regulating the system pressure to adjust the force on the hydraulic piston rod or the torque on the hydraulic motor shaft. Pressure relief valves are used to set the maximum pressure in the circuit and prevent it from being overloaded. Pressure reducing valves permanently maintain the output pressure at the set value while preventing overloading of the equipment. Unloading valves are designed for economic pressure control in accumulator operating circuits and are used as a power source for emergency control.
Classification of pressure control valve
In the pneumatic transmission system, all pressure control valves work on the principle of balance between air pressure and spring force, which can be divided into the following three categories:
1. Pressure reducing valve. Also known as pressure regulating valve, setting device (precision pressure reducing valve), etc., it plays the role of pressure reducing and stabilizing;
2. Overflow valve. Also known as safety valve, pressure-limiting shut-off valve, etc., it plays the role of pressure-limiting safety protection;
3. Sequence valve and balance valve. Depending on the pressure of the gas circuit, some control is performed.
