Carboxymethyl chitosan in cell anti-inflammatory experiments,it can significantly reduce IL6 and TNF± levels. It also shows anti-inflammatory effects in human experiments; animal experiments promote skin stratum corneum Forming cell generation, accelerating the repair of the skin surface stratum corneum, indicating that it has a skin barrier repair function; it can quickly alleviate the itching of the skin caused by histamine, and significantly alleviate the tingling sensation caused by skin allergies. Animal experiments have confirmed its antipruritic effect.
Chitosan is natural high molecule amino polysaccharides polymer extracted from the shell of crabs and shrimps. It is the sole animal cellulose with positive charge discovered in the nature till now. It is regarded as the sixth vital factor essential for human being besides the sugar, protein, fat, vitamin and mineral substance. It can be widely applied the fields of food, medicine, textile, cosmetic, agriculture, chemistry and environmental protection.
Based on the function of chitosan fiber, it can be widely used in high-grade dressing and gauze in medical field.Functional underwear and antibacterial yarn in textile field;Health field functional mask, wet towel, sanitary napkin, baby diapers, etc.
The Deacetylation of chitin gives chitosan, a high molecular weight linear polymer of amino D- glucose.
Applications : Chitosan (Deacetylated chitin) have wide range of industrial, applications in various fields namely flocculation ,paper making ,textile Printing, and sizing ,ion exchange chromatography, removal of metal ions from industrial effluents, manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics and as an additive in food industry.
It is popular nutritious beverage produced by adding the best domestic honey in the finest pure Red Korean Cabbage without any preservatives or additives in the manufacturing process
Description:
Chitin is a naturally occurring polysaccharide found in the shells of living organisms such as crabs, lobsters, tortoise, shrimps, and insects or it can be generated via fungal fermentation processes. And chitosan is a unique biobased polymer that is a derivative of chitin and forms the exoskeleton of arthropods. It is obtained by partial deacetylation of chitin using a chemical method or by enzymatic hydrolysis. In general, chitin with a degree of deacetylation of 70% or above is considered to be chitosan.
Application:
Chitin and its derivative chitosan are natural biopolymers which are extracted from crabs, prawns, and shrimps. Chitin consists of ²-(1,4)- linked 2-acetamido-2 deoxy-²-D-glucose which is insoluble in water and hydrophobic in nature.
Chitin is a natural biopolymer, which is biocompatible and biodegradable and useful in many applications like biomedical, electronics, photography, and textiles. The main advantages of chitin and its derivates are the low cost and easily availability. The chitin-based composites like chitin beads, chitin nanofibers, and chitin hydrogels are used in drug delivery and tissue engineering applications. In recent times, chitin and its derivates have gained much importance in the field of electronic applications as sensors and energy storage applications. Chitin nanofiber papers are being used as flexible green electronics in solar cells and organic light-emitting diodes. Aksoy et al. prepared low-cost chitin derivatives with high conductivity, for the construction of Schottky diodes, which are useful for photoelectrical applications. Schauer et al. reported a variation of the piezoelectric effect of the chitin electrospun nanofibers.
