Zinc is a bluish-white, lustrous metal. It is brittle at ambient temperatures but is
malleable at 100 to 150C. It is a reasonable conductor of electricity, and burns in air
at high red heat with evolution of white clouds of the oxide. Plating thin layers of zinc
on to iron or steel is known as galvanizing and helps to protect the iron from corrosion.

Product description:
Lead zinc ore is gray and black powder, and is made by selected and crushed sphalerite and galena sulfide ore.The mohs hardness is 3-5.5, the density is 4.5- 5.0 g/cm3.For the different melting point of sulfide, lead zinc ore is used in friction material for adjusting high-temperature, improving friction coefficient and reducing the dosage of adhesive.It is specially suitable for rake pad drum brake or clutch.The recommended regular consumption rate is about 2-8% according to the required function.
