1.Used as raw material for resin, paint and special rubber
Organic synthesis. Divinylbenzene has two ethylenes, which can be copolymerized to form a three-dimensional structure of insoluble and immiscible polymer. Therefore, it is a very useful cross-linking agent, widely used in ion exchange resin; Leaving the exchange membrane; ABS resin; Polystyrene resin; Unsaturated polyester resin; Synthetic rubber; Wood processing; Carbon processing, etc
Water Treatment
DEHA is used in Water Treatment Chemical Formulations for controlling corrosion in boiler very effectively due to its property of oxygen scavenge scores over conventional hydrazine hydrate since it is far less toxic and meets the standard for disposal of blow offs without any difficulty giving good protection against corrosion at the same time.
Polymerization
DEHA's powerful free radical scavenging ability coupled with its moderate volatility and relatively low order of acute toxicity makes it an ideal "po Polymer "/ vapour phase inhibitor for olefins or styrene monomer storage & recovery system. Because of its capability of inhibiting polymerlzatlot the gas phase, DEHA is finding use as an in-process inhibitor for the production of styrene, divinylbenzene, butadiene, isoprene and other monorr containing a reactive double bond.
â?¢ Photographic Chemicals
DEHA has reducing property, so it is used as an auxiliary chemical photographic developer for instant colour photos. Also, DEHA is effective in stabilization of image and in the prevention of discolouration.
Decolourisation
Phenol and Phenolic antioxidants can be decolourised with DEHA.
Inhibitors
DEHA also can be used as a colour stabiliser of monoalkyl phenol. Silicon Rubber
DEHA can be used as a raw material for the hardener of the Silicon Sealant and coating agent.
Storage
Can be stored and handled in equipment made of stainless steel of Type SS304 or SS316 or steel lined with glass, polypropylene or polyethylene
Storage in mild steel equipment or containers is not recommended.
DEHA drums should be stored in a cool and well ventillated area, away from sources of ignition. Forms two layers for concerntration from 33 to 87 wt %.

Health &Safety
DEHA is irritating to skin,eyes and the mucous membrane.
In case of contact,affected area to be washed with plenty of water for atleast 15 minutes.
In case of inhaltion,victim should be moved to fresh air and oxygen should be administered.
In case of ingestion,victim should be made to consume copious quantity of milk and water. Medical advice should be sought at once. Personal protective equipment should always be used while handling.

Canftec TC008 Is a premium grade gel-type strong acid cation exchange resin produced by sulfonated styrene-divinylbenzene (DVB) copolymers in standard Gaussian size distribution. It has excellent chemical, physical and thermal stability, and high exchange capacity. TC008 in sodium form is widely used for water softening to reduce total hardness. In hydrogen form, it also can be used for water demineralization.
