Uses : mino group protecting agent in the synthsis of peptides, glycopeptides, pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Convenient reagent fot the protection of amino acids and peptides as their acid-labile t- butoxycarbonyl (boc) derivatives (t-butyl carbamates), in high yield under mild conditions.
